The series was adapted from the original version of the Taiwanese action role-playing game The Legend of Sword and Fairy by Softstar Entertainment. The series was produced by Chinese Entertainment Shanghai and starred cast members from mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore.
And June Showers is sung by Hu Ge, a Chinese actor and singer. Hu is best known for his role as Li Xiaoyao in the 2004 television series Chinese Paladin. In September 2012, he was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 31st Hundred Flowers Awards for his role as Lin Juemin in Chinese historical film 1911.
