Megurine Luka (巡音ルカ) is a Japanese VOCALOID developed and distributed by Crypton Future Media, Inc., and was initially released in January 2009 for the VOCALOID2engine. She is part of the Character Vocal Series and is aCharacter Voice Vocaloid. There is currently ongoing development for additional voice banks dubbed 'Append' as well as an upgrade to the VOCALOID3 engine.
The song first debuted at Anime Expo 2012 and was uploaded onto Nico Nico Douga on July 27, 2012. It is an answer song to Just Be Friends, another song by Dixie Flatline. The song currently has more than 190,000 views.
Answer takes place three years after the events in Just Be Friends and it shows how the girl (Luka) moved on.
