Kusaregedo to Chokoreito (腐れ外道とチョコレゐト, Rotten Heresy and Chocolate) is a song performed by Hatsune Miku. Hatsune Miku (初音ミク), sometimes referred to as Miku Hatsune, is a humanoid persona voiced by a singing synthesizer application developed by Crypton Future Media, headquartered in Sapporo city. She uses Yamaha Corporation's Vocaloid 2 and Vocaloid 3 singing synthesizing technologies. She also uses Crypton Future Media's Piapro Studio, a singing synthesizer VSTi Plugin.
This song was uploaded on January 10, 2011. The song gained popularity when a dance cover by Nyantaro Project was uploaded. It reached 1,000,000 views on January 13, 2013, making it into the Hall of Legend.
The lyrics tell of a girl who loves gossip, and doesn't care if it's real or fake. She starts the song by telling the listener that the teacher and a student from the next class over are doing some "immoral" acts. Later, she starts a rumor about a pop star everybody likes, and one about a famous scholar. She compares the gossip to choclate because it's so addictive and everybody wants a piece once you open it. At the end of the song, she finds out how it feels to be on the other end (being gossiped about), claiming that "it's not to her taste".
