A few things, with an upbeat pop song like this, arpeggios don't really work in the bass line. That smooth flowy kinda stuff is only good for ballads and slow songs usually. You had the right idea at measure 38 with the octave jumps. Either that or a syncopated beat should have rocked the bass line the whole time. If you just really really want to do arpeggios for some reason, at least keep them consistent. Don't alternate between different types of arpeggios like at measure 26. Another thing, the "Ay-Ay-oh, Ay-oh"s begin as a pick up note. They don't start on the down beat. Also, what the heck was up with the random modulation to minor? That did not sound good at all. Overall it was a decent song though.
